The mural “Old New World Order” by EGS in Mannheim

STADT.WAND.KUNST is taking a winter break with a mural by Finnish old-schoolgraffiti artist EGS. Last summer, numerous artists once again came to Mannheim to leave their mark on the cityscape as part of this unique open-air gallery for urban art. The facade of the Einraumhaus was repainted as scheduled.

Following in the footsteps of international stars likeHENDRIK BEIKIRCHand theLOWBROS, who created their large-scale murals in 2017,1010,WAONE,THE LONDON POLICE,SOURATI, andFRAU ISA left their mark on Mannheim in 2018. The result is a colorful, XXL mix of graffiti and street art from all corners of the globe—almost as if this cross-cultural exchange had always been a given.
